Cookies & Browser Storage Policy
This policy describes how Vividviz uses essential cookies, session storage, and browser LocalStorage technologies across the PlottingPro web application.
Essential Authentication
Supabase Auth JWT tokens store active login states securely in HTTP cookies or session storage.
User Preferences
Remembers your chosen measurement unit (Meters / Feet / Yards) and basemap layer style.
No Tracking Ads
We do not sell data to third-party advertising networks or place cross-site tracking beacons.
1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device when visiting a website. HTML5 LocalStorage and SessionStorage allow web applications to save data locally in your browser so pages load faster and retain your interface preferences between visits.
2. Technical Inventory of Storage Used on PlottingPro
Maintains secure logged-in authentication sessions for HQ Admins and Developer Portal staff.
Saves your preferred unit system (Meters, Feet, or Yards) and map layer view mode across project view sessions.
Temporarily caches CAD DXF/SVG parsing data in SessionStorage while transitioning into the Project Layout Editor.
3. Third-Party Map Tiles & IP Security Logging
When rendering interactive 2D GIS layout maps, your browser directly requests satellite and vector map tiles from external tile providers (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, CARTO). In addition, our security audit logger resolves client IP addresses via `/api/get-ip` endpoints to maintain operational activity logs.
4. Managing & Disabling Cookies
You can control or clear cookies and browser LocalStorage through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Please note that disabling essential authentication cookies may prevent access to HQ Admin and Developer Portal management tools.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Cookie Policy is governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
