1. Information We Collect
We collect information to operate PlottingPro efficiently and provide personalized real estate experiences:
- Developer & Staff Account Information: Full name, corporate email address, contact phone number, company name, user role (HQ Super Admin, HQ Admin, Developer Owner, Staff).
- Customer & Buyer Enquiry Data: Name, phone number, email address, plot interest preferences, and appointment schedules submitted via project enquiry forms.
- Geospatial & Technical Data: Layout CAD files (DXF/SVG), site coordinates, map calibration data.
- Audit & Security Telemetry: Client IP address (resolved via standard HTTP headers), browser user-agent, authentication activity timestamps, and administrative audit logs.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
Under Section 4 of the DPDP Act 2023, data is processed strictly for specified, lawful purposes:
- To initialize accounts, authenticate users, and enforce multi-tenant organization isolation.
- To route real estate lead enquiries from prospective buyers directly to the relevant developer team.
- To record administrative activity logs with IP addresses for audit trail compliance and system security.
- To parse and render interactive vector layouts on map canvases.
3. Third-Party Sub-processors & Infrastructure Services
We partner with specialized, security-audited cloud infrastructure providers:
Stores user authentication data, PostgreSQL database tables, and uploaded project brochures/CAD layouts under encrypted storage.
Hosts Next.js web applications, API endpoints, and serverless edge functions.
Fetches raster map background tiles (satellite, hybrid, street views) directly in user browsers.
Used to securely resolve client IP address headers for administrative audit trail recording.
4. Data Principal Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
As a Data Principal under Indian law, you possess the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access Information: Summary of personal data being processed and identities of processing entities.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: Right to correct inaccurate data or request complete deletion of personal records.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: Right to seek resolution of grievances with our designated Data Protection Officer.
- Right to Nominate: Right to nominate an individual to exercise rights in the event of death or incapacity.
5. Data Security & Storage Retention
We implement industry-standard organizational and technical safeguards, including HTTPS protocol enforcement, database row-level isolation policies, and password hashing. Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill operational, contractual, or statutory compliance obligations.
